New York, January 31st (TradersHuddle.com) - Research Calls ahead of the market open.

France Telecom (NYSE:FTE) was upgraded to a Buy from Hold at Jefferies.

Veolia Environnement (NYSE:VE) was upgraded to Equal Weight from Underweight at Morgan Stanley.

Range Resources (NYSE:RRC) was upgraded to a Hold from Sell at Canaccord Genuity.

NYSE Euronext (NYSE:NYX) was downgraded to Sector Perform from Outperform at RBC Capital.

Philips Electronics (NYSE:PHG) was downgraded to a Hold from Buy at Deutsche Bank.

Thomas & Betts (NYSE:TNB) was downgraded to Market Perform from Outperform at Wells Fargo, following ABB bid to buy the company

Carnival (NYSE:CCL) was downgraded to Equal Weight from Overweight at Barclays.

Plum Creek Timber (NYSE:PCL) was downgraded to a Sell from Neutral at UBS.

EQT Corp. (NYSE:EQT) was upgraded to a Hold from Sell at Canaccord Genuity.

CF Industries (NYSE:CF) was downgraded to a Neutral from Outperform at Credit Suisse.
