“Thanks to all of those who support the NFC Foundation and its efforts, we were able to give more back to our communities in 2011 versus 2010,” stated Brian Numainville, Chair of the NFC Foundation. “Further, our associates continued to rally behind the efforts of the NFC Foundation last year, such as volunteering for our first-ever Helping Hands in the Community Day, during which we shut down our corporate office and hundreds of employees provided much needed help to our nonprofit partners.”

The NFC Foundation also administers the Feeding Imagination® educational program which donates new and gently used K-6 reading books to children and nonprofits assisting them. Since the inception of the program in December of 2006, more than 132,500 books have been donated.
