CNA Appoints Michael DeMarco Commercial Underwriting Officer – New York City

CHICAGO-( Business Wire )-CNA Financial Corporation (NYSE: CNA) announced the appointment of Michael DeMarco to Commercial Underwriting officer (CUO) for its New York branch office. In this position, DeMarco will add local underwriting leadership and deep technical underwriting capabilities to this branch in order to increase profitable growth in its Commercial Lines portfolio, strengthen relationships with producers, and ensure that the full complement of CNA’s products and services are presented to every account.
DeMarco joins CNA from Venture Programs, where he served as executive vice president of the Preferred Club Program. He began his career with Chubb more than 15 years ago where he assumed roles of increasing responsibility throughout his tenure. DeMarco is a graduate of the College of Insurance, and served in the United States Marine Corps.
