XL Group and Affinity Agency Group Enter New Underwriting Agreement to Provide Club Links Insurance Program

EXTON, Pa., Feb. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Insurance segment of XL Group plc (NYSE: XL) and Affinity Agency Group LLC, today announced a new joint underwriting agreement to offer The Affinity Club Links Program, providing comprehensive insurance coverage for private and semi-private country and golf clubs nationwide.
According to Quinnon Purvis, President of XL Group's North America Programs unit, "Effectively managing risk requires a thorough understanding of an industry. The hands-on experience that Affinity's leadership has working in the club industry adds additional depth and knowledge. We're pleased to combine our expertise with Affinity's to serve the risk management needs of golf and country clubs nationwide."

Through XL Group's Greenwich Insurance Company, XL Specialty Insurance Company, XL Insurance America, Inc. and Indian Harbor Insurance Company, the Affinity Club Links Program provides private and semi-private golf and country clubs with a variety of coverages and risk management services, including:

- Commercial Auto
- Umbrella or Excess Liability
- Fidelity and Crime
- Pollution and/or Storage Tank Liability
