Dow's Top Performers :AA, BAC, AXP

aa New York, February 2nd (TradersHuddle.com) - The Dow Jones Industrial Average is lower trading at 12691.9, which represents -0.19% versus its previous trading session close. The blue chip index is having a mixed day with upside bias by having 16 Dow components trading higher.

Alcoa (NYSE:AA) is the Dow's top performer this morning with the stock trading at $10.46 representing 2.55% versus the previous trading session. Shares of Alcoa, the aluminum producer have defined support at $10.10 and resistance at $10.74.

Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) is also among the top performers early in the trading session, trading at $7.46 representing 1.36% from its previous close. Bank of America, the largest U.S. lender has calculated support and resistance levels at $7.02 and $7.50 respectively. The other top performer this morning is American Express (NYSE:AXP), which is trading at $51.19 representing 1.13% from the previous trading session.

The Dow's worst performers include Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) that is trading at $20.92 or -1.83% from the previous close. Shares of Pfizer, the pharmaceutical company maker of Viagra and Lipitor have defined support at $18.15 and resistance at $21.90. Also among the worst performers we have Merck (NYSE:MRK), which is trading at $38.19 representing -1.14% from the previous trading session.

Benchmark crude for January delivery is also trading lower at $97.12 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange lower by $-0.1 from the previous trading session.

The Dow is underperfoming the S&P 500 but is pretty much equal with the NASDAQ composite. The S&P 500 is currently trading at 1323.69, which represents -0.03% from previous close, the Nasdaq on the other hand is trading at 2856.38 that represents 0.28% from previous session.
