NASDAQ 100 Mid-day Update: Higher Top Performers: NIHD, BMC, QCOM

New York, February 2nd (TradersHuddle.com) - The NASDAQ 100 Index is higher trading at 2490.96, which represents 0.11% versus its previous close. The index is having a mixed day with slightly more than 50% of the NASDAQ 100 components on the green.

NII Holdings (NASDAQ:NIHD) is the NASDAQ 100's top performer today with the stock trading at $22.08 representing 7.6% from its previous trading session. Shares of NII Holdings, the Latin America wireless communications provider have defined support at $18.82 and resistance at $20.80.

BMC Software (NYSE:BMC) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $38 representing 5.97% from its previous close. BMC Software, the system and service management software solutions provider has calculated support and resistance levels at $31.62 and $33.32 respectively. The other top performer of the NASDAQ 100 is QUALCOMM (NASDAQ:QCOM), which is trading at $60.86 representing 2.18% from its previous close.

The NASDAQ 100's worst performers include Ctrip.com (NASDAQ:CTRP) that is trading at $24.91 or -2.85% from the previous close. Shares of Ctrip.com, the one-stop China travel service provider have defined support at $24.40 and resistance at $28.09. Also among the worst performers Perrigo (NASDAQ:PRGO), which is trading at $92.94 representing -2.16% from the previous trading session.

The NASDAQ 100 is leading the Dow Jones and NASDAQ Composite. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 12693.5, which represents -0.18% from previous close, the S&P 500 on the other hand is trading at 1324.11 that represents 0% from its previous close.
