Mitel Certified to Deliver Cloud-Based Unified Communications Services in All 50 U.S. States

OTTAWA, Feb. 6, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL), a leading provider of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) software solutions, today announced that Mitel NetSolutions, the company's service provider division offering cloud-based UCC services across the United States, has been certified as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. In addition to its broadened CLEC status, Mitel NetSolutions has announced significant updates to its AnyWare hosted cloud-based communications service, including deep mobile integration in order to help small enterprises leverage the productivity benefits of a mobile workforce.

Through this expansion, Mitel NetSolutions now serves as a single-point communications provider for small businesses in the U.S. that want all of the capabilities of enterprise-class UCC delivered as a cloud service, regardless of how their offices are distributed.
