Earnings Preview: Axis Capital

New York, February 6th (TradersHuddle.com) - Shares of Axis Capital Holdings Limited (NYSE:AXS) traded lower by -1.07% ahead of its
quarterly earnings release. Axis Capital, the provider of specialty insurance and treaty reinsurance on a global basis is expected to release its quarterly results on February 7th.
Wall Street Analysts consensus calls for a profit of $0.46 a share on $514.83 million revenue.
Axis Capital estimates have a range of $0.58 a share. The high estimate calls for profit of $0.83 a share and the low estimate is calling for a profit of $0.25 a share, a year ago for the quarter the company reported $1.41 a share.
Axis Capital Holdings Limited (NYSE:AXS) provides specialty lines and treaty reinsurance on a global basis. Specialty lines primarily includes onshore and offshore energy, aviation and aerospace, commercial property and marine. Treaty reinsurance covers catastrophe risks such as property, Workers Compensation, professional liability, casualty, and marine and aviation.
