Nebraska Liquor Licenses Can Now be Renewed Online
Published on Tuesday, 07 February 2012 00:11 Written by TradersHuddle Staff
LINCOLN, Neb.-( Business Wire )-The Nebraska Liquor Control Commission has worked with Nebraska.gov to update the efficiency of the online service for renewing liquor licenses. The online service can be found at https://www.nebraska.gov/nlcc/renewals/.
In the past, the online liquor license renewal service allowed license holders to only pay the state renewal fees online. The updated service will allow users to also pay the necessary local renewal fees. The user will have the option to pay the local fees within the same transaction, or return at a later date.
At this time, participation by the local clerks is voluntary. Numerous clerks, at both the city and county level are taking advantage of the updated system. If someone attempts to pay their local fees and their local clerk is not participating, an email notification will be sent to the Liquor Control Commission and Nebraska.gov.
“We are excited to expand our online services to the public and local clerk offices,” said Hobert Rupe, the Executive Director for the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. “More people are using the Internet as a way to conduct business and we want to make that option available for all of the fees that are due.”
Additional online services offered by the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission include:
- Beer wholesale report
- Spirit and Wine wholesale report
- ACH supplier payments
- Beer Territory database
“The Liquor Control Commission is dedicated to continuing to expand the offering of services available online,” said Rupe. “We look forward to working with Nebraska.gov to increase the number of online services in the future.”
