Chase Sapphire Launches Winter Ski Experience Program Featuring U.S. Ski Champion Picabo Street

WILMINGTON, Del.-( Business Wire )-Chase Card Services, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. [NYSE: JPM], launched the Chase SapphireSM 2012 Ski Experience Program with a very successful cardmember weekend experience at Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, VT, on January 13–16. The experiential rewards weekends are exclusively for Chase Sapphire cardmembers and feature U.S. Ski champion Picabo Street. Two additional cardmember experiences will be held at five-star mountain resorts over Presidents’ Day and St. Patrick’s Day weekends.

Through Chase Ultimate Rewards, Chase Sapphire cardmembers can redeem points for weekend packages that include three nights of luxury accommodations, ski clinics and a dinner reception with Street and a two-day lift ticket. The two-person packages also features airport transportation to and from the resort, feature custom ski and boot fittings, and a wine pairing dinner with journalist and sommelier Anthony Giglio. Cardmembers also have the choice between a spa treatment and other mountain activities such as snowshoeing, snowmobiling and hot air balloon rides.

The Chase Sapphire 2012 Ski Experience Program will be held in two additional U.S. cities:
- Olympic Valley, CA: Resort at Squaw Creek (February 17-20, 2012) [A few packages remain available]
- Park City, UT: Montage Deer Valley Ski Resort and Hotel (March 15-18, 2012) [SOLD OUT]

Picabo Street is a three-time Olympian and two-time medalist, earning a silver medal in the Downhill event at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway and a gold medal in the Super Giant Slalom event at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan. Street also became the first American woman to win the World Cup downhill season titles in 1995 and 1996, along with a total of nine World Cup downhill race wins. Street was inducted into the National Ski Hall of Fame in 2004.
