Caldwell Partners Appoints Elan Pratzer as Managing Partner, Canada

Industry veteran brings wealth of business and executive search experience
TORONTO, Feb. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Retained executive search firm The Caldwell Partners International Inc. (TSX: CWL) today announced the appointment of Elan Pratzer as Managing Partner, Canada.

Mr. Pratzer's executive search career began when he was 19 and included managing what became Egon Zhender's Toronto office, building his own firm (Pratzer & Partners) through organic growth and acquisition to include offices in Toronto, Chicago and New York, and ultimately selling his firm to Korn/Ferry in 2000 wherein he became the Managing Director, Canada responsible for offices in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. In 2004, after a brief period in private equity with the Rose Corporation, Elan founded and has been the CEO of Executive Risk Group Ltd., a firm that continues to provide risk management solutions for directors, officers and trustees.
Mr. Pratzer earned a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto.
As Managing Partner, Canada Mr. Pratzer will be responsible for the development of new business and client relationships, the recruitment of Partners, and fostering individual, team and office success.
Based in the firm's Toronto office, Mr. Pratzer joins a team that includes Kelly Blair, Ron Charles, Jeff Freeborough, Chris Laubitz, Avo Oudabachian, Heather Ring and Denise Tobin.
