LONDON, Feb. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Weber Shandwick, one of the world's leading global public relations firms, was this week named EMEA Consultancy of the Year by The Holmes Report. The firm will be honoured in May at the annual European SABRE Awards, sponsored by The Holmes Report.
In announcing this prestigious honour, The Holmes Report cited healthy double-digit growth, new business from a number of US multinationals and iconic British brands and the continued growth of key clients, set against a challenging European economy. Specific market growth in Brussels, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK was also called out.
"We are absolutely delighted to be recognised in this way," said Colin Byrne, CEO, Weber Shandwick EMEA. "We understand that the trust and partnership of our clients is crucial to success such as this, particularly during such difficult economic times. And thanks must also go to our teams across the region that continue, with dedication and commitment, to deliver outstanding communications consultancy."
