Baristas Tampa Opens for Business

SEATTLE, Feb. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Baristas Coffee Company, Inc. (OTCPK: BCCI) announced that its first location in Tampa, Florida located at 3601 W. Gandy Blvd. opened for business at 5:00am on Thursday, February 2, 2012.

The opening occurred after the Baristas team arrived to a warm welcome by Marshall Advertising whom it teamed up with to promote the opening at Tampa's Gasparilla festival.  Baristas utilized Marshall Advertising's historic mansion located adjacent to the festivals grounds and parade route as home base for the promotion which was attended by many notable locals and a special appearance by Santa Clause.

Prior to the Tampa opening, Baristas also held a casting call for its new reality show in development by Emmy award winning Mark Mayer of M&M productions.  The event was Co-hosted by Meredith Walusek the sexy star of MJ Morning Show. The MJ Morning Show is a Tampa-based drive time music and talk show which airs on WFLA FM and is syndicated by Clear Channel. Walusek also called in updates to the station during the 10:00 to 12:00 P.M. portion of the live auditions.

The location opened for business at 5:00am on Thursday, February 2nd, 2012 to a very enthusiastic set of customers.  The Tampa Baristas introduced themselves to local businesses, passersby and received a very warm welcome visit from the fire department.
