NASDAQ 100's Update, In focus:YHOO, AKAM, AMZN, FSLR, NTAP

New York, February 10th (TradersHuddle.com) - The NASDAQ 100 Index is lower trading at 2548.71, which represents -0.59% versus its previous close. The index is having an overall negative day with more than 70% of the NASDAQ 100 components trading negative.

Yahoo! (NASDAQ:YHOO) is the NASDAQ 100's top performer today with the stock trading at $16.25 representing 1.56% from its previous trading session. Shares of Yahoo! , the Internet media company that owns the second largest search engine have defined support at $15.35 and resistance at $16.15.

Akamai (NASDAQ:AKAM) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $38.61 representing 1.45% from its previous close. Akamai, the provider of delivery services for streaming media has calculated support and resistance levels at $31.01 and $34.25 respectively. The other top performer of the NASDAQ 100 is Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), which is trading at $187 representing 1.09% from its previous close.

The NASDAQ 100's worst performers include First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) that is trading at $44.63 or -8.96% from the previous close. Shares of First Solar, the largest maker of thin film solar modules in the world have defined support at $36.33 and resistance at $47.99. Also among the worst performers NetApp (NASDAQ:NTAP), which is trading at $39.37 representing -4.23% from the previous trading session.

The NASDAQ 100 is underperfoming the Dow Jones but is pretty much equal with the S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 12776.4, which represents -0.88% from previous close, the S&P 500 on the other hand is trading at 1341.87 that represents -0.75% from its previous close.
