MAA Announces Quarterly Common Dividend

MEMPHIS, Tenn., May 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MAA (NYSE: MAA) today announced that its board of directors approved a quarterly common dividend of $0.6600 per share payable on July 31, 2012 to shareholders of record on July 13, 2012.

As established in prior quarters, the company is declaring its quarterly common dividend in advance of its earnings announcement, which it expects to make on August 2, 2012.
