New York, May 30th (TradersHuddle.com) - Casino stocks ended the session lower by closing -1.63% versus their previous day close. Casino stocks had widespread weakness with 2 out of 7 casino companies trading higher.
Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ:PENN) was the top performer of the casino stocks today closing at $45.8 representing 0.22%. versus the previous trading session. The shares of Penn National Gaming, the owner and operator of casinos in Mississippi, and a riverboat gaming facility in Louisiana have defined support at $42.95 and resistance at $46.28.
Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ:WYNN) was also among the top performers, closed the trading session at $104.78 representing 0.16% from its previous close. Wynn Resorts, the luxury casino operator has calculated support and resistance levels at $98.26 and $105.46 respectively.
Casino Stocks worst performers include Isle of Capri Casinos (NASDAQ:ISLE) that closed the trading session at $5.08 or -4.51% from the previous close. Isle of Capri Casinos, the owner and operator of branded casino resorts throughout the U.S., the U.K. and the Bahamas shares have defined support at $4.75 and resistance at $5.73. Also among the worst performers was Las Vegas Sands (NYSE:LVS), which closed the trading session at $47.58 representing -2.96% from the previous trading session.
Casino stocks underperformed the broad market S&P 500 Index that closed the trading session at 1313.32, -19.1 points or -1.43% from the previous trading session.
