NASDAQ 100's Update, In focus: RIMM, NFLX, APOL, CTXS, FFIV

New York, July 6th (TradersHuddle.com) - The NASDAQ 100 Index is lower trading at 2605.13, which represents -1.6% versus its previous close. The index is an a broad decline with more than 85% of its components on the red.

Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) is the NASDAQ 100's top performer today with the stock trading at $7.99 representing 3.9% from its previous trading session. Shares of Research In Motion, the Blackberry maker have defined support at $7.14 and resistance at $11.02.

Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) is also among the top performers, and it is trading at $83.15 representing 1.75% from its previous close. Netflix, the online video rental company, has calculated support and resistance levels at $65.60 and $70.48 respectively. The other top performer of the NASDAQ 100 is Apollo (NASDAQ:APOL), which is trading at $36.2 representing 0.67% from its previous close.

The NASDAQ 100's worst performers include Citrix Systems (NASDAQ:CTXS), which is trading at $77.6 or -7.38% from the prior close. Shares of Citrix Systems, the enterprise software company with end-to-end virtualization have defined support at $76.79 and resistance at $85.65. Also among the worst performers F5 Networks (NASDAQ:FFIV), which is trading at $94.16 representing -7.18% from the previous session.

The NASDAQ 100 is underperfoming the Dow Jones but is pretty much equal with the S&P 500. The Dow Jones Industrial Index is currently trading at 12739.3, which represents -1.22% from previous close, the S&P 500, on the other hand, is trading at 1352.07 that represents -1.13% from its previous close.
