MKS Instruments Announces Increased Quarterly Cash Dividend

ANDOVER, Mass., July 31, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MKS Instruments, Inc. (Nasdaq:MKSI), a global provider of technologies that enable advanced processes and improve productivity, today announced that its board of directors has authorized a 7% increase in its quarterly cash dividend to $0.16 per share, payable on September 14, 2012 to shareholders of record as of August 31, 2012.
"The board's decision to increase the dividend is indicative of continued confidence in our free cash flow performance across our business cycles," said Leo Berlinghieri, Chief Executive Officer and President. "Together with our share repurchase program, we have an ongoing commitment to return capital to our shareholders, while continuing to invest in the long-term growth of our business."
Future dividend declarations, as well as the record and payment dates for such dividends, are subject to the final determination of the Company's Board of Directors.
