Visa Canada offers cardholders exclusive online and in-person access as a major sponsor of the Festival

TORONTO, Aug. 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Visa Canada is inviting cardholders to 'Share the Spotlight' as a major sponsor of the 37^th Toronto International Film Festival. With a variety of exclusive perks on site, priority access to tickets and a wealth of insider information at Visa.ca/Spotlight, Visa is giving cardholders access to the Festival like never before.

Two, high profile bloggers on-site, on the red carpet at the Visa Screening Room will be offering readers exclusive information and interviews with celebrities throughout the course of the Festival.

Throughout the Festival, Visa cardholders will also have a chance to truly share the spotlight by having their photo taken on the Visa blue carpet located near Roy Thomson Hall. Cardholders' photos will be posted on Visa.ca/Spotlight where they can access them and share with friends. Each photo will also be projected as cardholders enjoy their 15 minutes, or seconds, of fame.

Visa Infinite cardholders at the Festival can experience perks early, starting with an exclusive ticket pre-sale from August 30 to September 5 for select films screening at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Once at the Festival, Visa Infinite cardholders will experience a variety of on-site perks and benefits including the ability to unwind in an exclusive lounge at the Visa Screening Room.
