Charter to Redeem Certain Outstanding Securities

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR) (along with its subsidiaries, the "Company" or "Charter") today announced its intention to redeem (the "Redemption") approximately $678 million in aggregate principal amount of the outstanding 13.50% senior notes due 2016 (the "2016 Notes") issued by CCH II, LLC and CCH II Capital Corp as permitted by the terms of the indenture governing the 2016 Notes. Charter intends to consummate the Redemption on October 10, 2012 (the "Redemption Date"). Under the terms of the Redemption, the 2016 Notes subject to the Redemption will be redeemed at 108.522% of the principal amount thereof, which amount is equal to $1,085.22 per $1,000 principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest up to the Redemption Date.

Notices of Redemption are being delivered by The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A., the trustee for the 2016 Notes, to the registered holders.
