New York, October 12th (TradersHuddle.com) - Casino stocks ended the session higher by closing 0.24% versus their previous day close. Casino stocks were mixed with a slight downside bias with 3 out of 7 casino companies trading higher.
Las Vegas Sands (NYSE:LVS) was the top performer of the casino stocks today closing at $43.96 representing 1.38%. versus the previous trading session. The shares of Las Vegas Sands, the owner and operator of casino resorts and convention centers in the U.S., Macau, and Singapore have defined support at $42.63 and resistance at $47.38.
Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ:WYNN) was also among the top performers, closed the trading session at $113.6 representing 1.01% from its previous close. Wynn Resorts, the luxury casino operator has calculated support and resistance levels at $109.95 and $117.82 respectively.
Casino Stocks worst performers include Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ:PENN) that closed the trading session at $40.83 or -0.9% from the previous close. Penn National Gaming, the owner and operator of casinos in Mississippi, and a riverboat gaming facility in Louisiana shares have defined support at $37.03 and resistance at $43.63. Also among the worst performers was Isle of Capri Casinos (NASDAQ:ISLE), which closed the trading session at $6.45 representing -0.46% from the previous trading session.
Casino stocks outperformed the broad market S&P 500 Index that closed the trading session at 1428.59, -4.25 points or -0.3% from the previous trading session.
