American Science and Engineering, Inc. Receives Orders for Five Z Backscatter Van (ZBV) Systems for Middle East and African Government Agencies

BILLERICA, Mass., Jan. 17, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Science and Engineering, Inc. ("AS&E") (Nasdaq:ASEI), a leading worldwide supplier of innovative X-ray detection solutions, announced today the receipt of orders for five of the Company's top-selling Z Backscatter™ Vans ("ZBV") for Middle East and African government agencies. The ZBV® cargo and vehicle screening systems will be used for counterterrorism missions.
